THE GENERAL HOLSTERMAN LECTURES by Gabriel Thomas are a collection of excerpts concerning aspects of Psychological Warfare. These excerpts are fictionalized into a classroom setting for easier reading and understanding. Each scene takes place inside an auditorium at a high school military academy in the year 2011. In the book, the audience listening to these lectures are all high school students, often referred to as Cadets. The lecturer, Xavier Holsterman, is a retired Army General, usually called The General for the duration. The course-title of the class is, ‘THE MIND OF WAR’, and its lectures contain a wide range of psychological warfare topics.
